Eleven days on the quay, one usable frame a day

The brief asked for machinery. What the client bought was six frames of people waiting, because the machinery does nothing anyone can photograph and the waiting is the whole job.

Shot on a 35mm at f/2 and available light throughout. No lighting on site, no releases beyond the crew, and the ship moved twice.

2. A recce, or photographs of the roomlight is the whole decision and it is made before the day
